Trial Lesson
One trial lesson is offered for every new student. Typically, the first lesson is your trial lesson and is free of charge. This lesson is designed for the teacher to get to know the student and their family more, as well as going over policies and expectations.
Note that the trial lesson is usually about 20 - 30 minutes in length. This is NOT your regular lesson.
Invoice
Invoice is sent electronically by email at the beginning of each month. The invoice will include unit lesson price, lesson dates, and the total fee for the month.
Payment
Payment is collected at the first lesson of each month. Acceptable payment methods are cash, checks, and venmo.

Cancellation / Rescheduling
Except extreme emergency or sickness, cancelling and rescheduling for a lesson requires 24 hours notice in advance. Request may or may not be granted if the notice is less than 24 hours. If your notice is lesson than 24 hours and the request may not be granted, the lesson will still be charged. If in any case, I have to cancel or reschedule a lesson with your party, a make up lesson or credited lesson will be given.
If a request is granted, your lesson will either be rescheduled to another day OR be credited to the following month. Please note that I obtain a busy schedule and a make up lesson may not always be granted.
Late / No Show
The 15 minutes policy - I only grant 15 minutes wait time if your party is late to a lesson. After 15 minutes, the lesson will be charged regardless of the condition.
Except extreme emergency or sickness, a no show to the lesson will be charged regardless of the condition.
Recital
A Studio Recital is anticipated annually. Students are encouraged to participate. A fee will be included in the monthly invoice to cover rental, piano tuning and other costs.
Certified Exams
The Associated Board of Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) is recognized worldwide. Students will be selected and advised to participate if opportunities are granted.
The exam is offered twice a year. Exam fees will be included in the monthly invoice.
